Should I have metal pedals on my Plus or was this only on the LE? Only the accelerator is metal on mine.

I THINK only the LE had the Sparco pedals, if I'm wrong, someone will be along shortly to tell you otherwise!

Cheers guys.

Johna - that was going to be my next question - thanks! \:\)

Has anyone fitted a pair of these? Is it easy? Any drilling involved?

So would it be pointless me buying the ones you listed on eBay?

Would it just be better to buy a 2nd hand set of LE clutch and brake pedals?

It`s not too hard a job to drill and fit new pedals, much easier than changing the whole pedal box \:o .

Just make sure you leave enough space between the pedals when fitting so your feet don`t get trapped .

I would imagine the throttle pedal will simply mount over the existing one, after all, thats how the clutch and brake mount, which will lift them higher than normal anyway.

For info, this is how the pedals look in my LE, the throttle is standard, but drilled, I am not sure if a previous owner did this or it is factory standard.

The LE has two Sparco pedals and the standard (metal drilled) accelerator pedal. the Sparco pedal set can still be bought brand new at halfords for around £25. They are one and the same as can be bought of ebay 2nd hand for aroung £50

No the rubber pedals are the same as the LE pedal base once you take the rubber covers off. Fitting the sparco pedals is a 10min job with a drill. The ones listed on ebay are NOT the same as they are the wrong colour and do not include the rubber inserts.

Yes, but no longer on their website. They are also on ebay here or here. You have to install the rubber inserts and be sure they are included.

Boy how sad am I, and LE pedal obsessive
