Tell them to set the camber to whatever you want it set at. There's been a few discussions on camber settings recently. I would personally recommend running about 1 deg negative - any more and I find it too grabby of cambers and irregularities

It looks like he elongated holes to start with so he could adjust but then welded a washer on so its got a preset camber, hopefuly 1degree - by the sound of it.Does it affect tyre wear much?

I have been running 1 degree negative on mine for approx three months - not noticed any adverse tyre wear and the turn in is much improved!

To get a coupe to handle you have to dial in negative camber and firm up the rear of the car. At least a degree of neg camber - 1.3 is OK for road use, with not too much effect on tyre wear.
To really get the car to handle go for -1.5 to -1.7 degrees, and half a degree of toe out, but you will get more tyre wear doing that. This works really well with an uprated rear arb...but does make the car tail happy. If you want to go all out then look at increasing the caster with a custom top mount as well.
I'd go for some camber bolts so that you can adjust it rather than slotting the strut as this does not give you room for adjustment - you can get them from Balance Motorsport.

MattB sent me a link to one of Phils old thread. The camber is set to 1.5neg on these.I think Ill go with Matts suggestion and grind the washers off and set it less using serated washers.
