I know some of you including me have had problems with the dv26 when underbonnet temps are hot or in the summer months making the valve leak or not dump at all till its cooled down.

i took mine off months ago and went back to the standard,i did miss the sound so stripped down the valve which looked pretty sorry for itself the piston was heat crazed and the seal in the top looked like it melted.

i contacted bailey to see if they do a refurb kit, turns out they dont but do a return overhaul service basically replacing everything that needs to for £37 inc post and comes back with 12 month warrantly like a new one.

turns out mine was beyond repair so they sent me a brand new one with 12 month waranty for the overhaul price which i was quite pleased with cheaper than £95 for a new one.

just a heads up for anyone who currently has one and has had some problems i know many of you have had no issues with them.

very friendly bunch of guys on the phone and very quick turnaround.
