There are clips behind the pillars. You could just just lever the badges off, but then you'd have the fixing pieces rattling behind.

They can be removed, but the chances are you will snap off the locating pins which are about 2mm in diameter. Other than that they are held on with double sided tape the shape of the badge.

We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using. I even unplugged my own.

When I got new pillar badges for my 16v na I never knew they was a clip at the back (they were missing when I bought the car) and so just assumed that the peg on the new badges were just for locating them and the double-sided tape was all that held them on. After nearly 5 years they`re still attached and don`t seem to show any signs of peeling off . Plus i`ve never heard any rattling from the remnants of the old badges when it was on the road. Baz

Hardy har har guys Baz, think mine still has something hanging on to them at the back. Tried breaking down the double sided tape with floss but its still hanging on quite tight..which i assume is the fasteners behind the badge. I guess i could just be savage and rip the old badge off ...yes Ronnie, i'm blessed with bat like hearing. Dave, if i put my old exhaust back on then ,yes, i won't hear it...but the thought of a small plastic bit rattling somewhere is still in my head!
