this will come in handy for me while my car is off road due to my project.

There are several companies that offer temporary cover, daysure for example *but* the majority require the driver to be over 25 or have other strict criteria. Try a Google search for some other details.

id be looking for more like a week cover at a time.

Gets very expensive very quickly as I am not sure that the day rate reduces over time. They have a simple to use site www.dayinsure.com If it is a second car, most insurers will also add a second car to an existing policy quite reasonably for a short time
