Coming down, no matter how fast he comes off the edge he hits that curve somewhere... all he has to do is be fast enough not to tumble so he lands right side up. or too fast that he misses too much of the curve, or worse misses it completely. The mechanics of it aren't difficult, as you say, it's the psychological part that must be the hardest. I think I'd panic and forget to change gear or something equally silly

I think, on all due consideration, that I'd rather do it in something with rear wheel drive, the better to manage the rotation... but in general, I'd rather do it with a wing attached! So thats why people put those stupid spoilers on!!
