How do people think there coupe steering feels? sometimes i think it feels a bit numb in my car,is there anything that can lead to this or is it just part of the car?The few times i have driven my mates evo2 the steering is just so nice and weighted, you can feel everthing, it really is a peachy part of those cars!

One of the main things I noticed in my transition from 16VT to 20VT was the vague steering, something I'm going to have to get used to, it doesn't inspire confidence at all, it's like learning to drive all over again!
They were all like that by the way, not just the one I bought!

I have camber bolts and i might try a bit of toe out soon!
That's interesting Gareth,i have not driven a 16v to compare. Do you think they gave the steering more assistance because of the heavier engine?

Gareth Try using the 16vt tracking settings on the 20vt and see how it feels then.

It will be played with for sure, but I have much more pressing matters to attend to for now, this is a labour of, erm....love (I think!) To be honest, I can live with it for now as I have no plans to go tear arsing around until I've got confidence in the car mechanically, and with me, that takes some time! Gareth

i pumped the tyres up to 39 psi on the fronts and it shaperened the steering but i found it a bit light and to be fair i think the ride is crashy and hard at this psi. whats the best psi to set them to?
