Right then, All parts ready to fit. New strut tops, dedra 4x4 front ARB, New wishbones, new drop links, Bilstein Dampers, Eibach springs, Upper and lower Front strut braces, 22mm Rear ARB, Camber bolts.. Which brings me to tracking set up... Or what?... Was thinking 1.25 Deg Neg camber with parallel toe in/out.. or should I use 1mm toe out?.. Any opinions?... Also got some 5mm Hubcentric spacers to fit....Just need to find some nice 17" wheels...

Is this for the track/road everyday use/weekends?

I think you want to stick with standard toe settings and you'll find that running too much camber will just be a pain in the backside on Scottish b-roads where it'll not like the bumpy camber-changing roads.

Agree with that, and possible a little toe out on the occasional trackday.

Just tell them to set the camber at max camber, it's not near the 3deg they tell you on the package.. On mine it was ca -1.5 deg.

IMO if you go for -2 the car might be a bit extreme. After fitting the new kit I would go for -1 tops as the rear is going to feel very different with the arb. You can increase it if needed later. For road use I would not think going for more than -1.3 would be advisable as the car will tramline, and you may well find it's harder to get the power down as well...

You don't want to go any more than -1.2° for a road car with standard toe setting. Dead straight is the toe setting for the 16vt and a common mistake by wheel aligners, make sure they use 20vt settings that is 2mm toe in .

Point is, on a lowered car you can't go much more than -1.5deg anyway, on a lowered Coupe. Mine is fine with that on roadtires, maybe a little twitchy with R-tires.

I'd stick with standard toe settings anyway.

I the end I've got 1.25Deg neg camber with std toe settings. Car feels very neutral and stable. So I'm happy.

Hi
glad you are happy with the car. I take it you mean std toe being 2mm toe in?
I think i asked you about the front/rear arb making the car feel twitchy in another post, does it still feel like that?
I have the same setup as you apart from the front arb and i am interested in how people have there car's setup as i want mine to handle as good as possible for my budget!

cheers Jon

It's only twichey in the wet and that could be that the rear tyres are getting on a bit (have new ones ready to fit). otherwise the car is very good (for a ROAD car - compared to the integrale it's hopeless). yes the toe is at the std settings.

cheers tim
