Hmmm...it does closely resemble the 2 things which dangle underneath a dog

for that price i think your going to be disappointed, the drivers door is a differnt color to the rest of the car and the description is to generic for my liking "trip computer...."

also looks to be rust coming though on the front arches.. (might not be drivers door, could be the RQP)

It also has a chavvy 'england flag' number plate and cloth seats

Cloth seats are ok, can be replaced and lots of them, even the late ones, seem to rust on the arches, maybe it's a yellow thing

I'm still uming and aring whether to take the trip to go see it...

The most important part when looking at these cars, is what condition they are in mechanically, the plates can be changed and leather seats can be picked up cheaply (I paid £120 for mine and the chap kindly fitted them for me too) bodywork issues can be sorted out as and when, you could just use broom yellow touch up pen to cover the rust successfully or you could treat it yourself if you know how, but is only minor. It looks really nice all things considered......?

Yeah i know what you mean vickster, my yellow 16v had rust on the rear wheel arches

posting again as i love the yellow coupes, it also has had the cambelt done recently and has ac, rcl and remote start, cool!

I joined up today as I am looking for a 20VT and went to see this as it is local. Do not bother my friend. Here is why.

1/ Clutch - fooked mate - needs a new one. As soon as it boosts and you hit 6k rpm, change gear and the rev needle shoots round but the speedo doesn't - slipping massively.
2/ Oil piddling out of the DV and droplets in exhaust
3/ Masses and masses of over spray on lights, sills, arches, bonnet
4/ No service history since 06 and I would bet money the cambelt has not been done as the receipt for it looks like a home made job.
5/ Water ingress in boot
6/ Been smoked in (may not be important to others but is to me being a non smoker)
7/ Grip handles broken
8/ Both front tyres excessively scrubbed on outer shoulder
9/ Generally shabby interior

The chap himself - nice guy and if the car was decent, I would have done a deal. I have a cherished ST200 to trade, which he gave me a good price for, but I would be spending thousands getting the coupe up to a standard I could live with.
