I have just returned from the UK, drove 1100kms with no problems and the coupe just purred along. Didn't see another coupe all the way from Plymouth to Birmingham and back. Petrol is a lot cheaper in the UK than in France!

Nice one. We would argue that we spend a lot more time in traffic jams. Therefore given the French plethora of open roads, you get better value-for-money from your fuel.

Interesting point but when pound was 1.45 to the euro petrol was cheaper in France., Now pound is 1.06 it is pants!!

Yeah! real killer the exchange rate. Wish it was @ 1.06 18 months back. Sold my villa then (1.54) Wished I'd waited 'till now. Wad would've been considerably bigger

I just sold my house in UK, if it had sold 2 years ago I would be considerably richer!!
