Went to see Leighton in Bristol today to map my car for the RSR and I have to say he has done it again!

I have had to run base boost for the last week or so since having the intercooler and turbo fitted and I am absolutely amazed at the results. The car is pulling hard below 3000 rpm all the way to the red line.

Just need my new brakes to pitch up so I can slow down as well as the car accelerates.

PS Bristol is a bloody good workout from his place as it's one hell of a hill to and from the city centre

Told you would be happy with the RSR (cracking turbo).
The cars transformed after Leighton has mapped it, mines still great (when boost controller works)
What boost are you running now its all mapped?
You need to get it on a rolling road sometime to see what power you have.

That hill is big walked up and down that about 6 times when mine was mapped (was knackered when i got back )

It's one hell of a gradient Ash! Boost is peaking at just under 1.4 bar on hi setting and 1.25 on the low setting. Terrified myself on the M32 slip road as it scrabbled for grip all the way through second in bone dry conditions

Gonna take it to Surrey rolling road at some point in the near future unless someone on here can think of one closer to Basingstoke that's reputable.

Yeh cracking car Tom (in the end ), classic RSR setup very fast and very driveable

The highlight of the walk was a mint BMW 3.0CS, looked the nuts!

You won't regret it if you go to see Flea, he is a pretty switched on cookie

Do you get that big surge at just above 5.5k ( like the turbo is starting to have fun )
One thing i have also noticed is its better on fuel then it used to be (even when it is ignoring the lambda ) so more power and better on fuel.

What wheels did you have in your car mate? Mine was the black le. Went to pick it up same day yours was there. P.s. mine also feels pretty damn rapid so thanks Flea.

That was another coupe stevo, he had some nice 18" Azevs all fully refurbed!

The car does seem to pull harder higher up the range but it's the swell of torque that comes in at 3k that impresses me

Just had a feb weekend,, with you know who Mr. Flea.. no less

I had upgraded by car over a year ago with new RSR,dump valve, fuel pump, FMIC, clutch and so on, and only got a measely 20hp increase

Then after a lot of advice from many forumers, i decided to take Fleas advice and get it remapped (although I haev put a new uprated chip, it wasnt a custom mapping)

Anyway after a superb day out at the Zoo..whehee.. came back to flea to be told I have around 45-50bhp more.. FANTASTIC

Now running around 315bhp.. and hope a little more after i get one of the hoses untwisted as it is restricting 50% of flow.
