not sure if this is a re-post of a topic previously discussed here but...
i've been toying with the idea of modding my coupe with bigger wheels and lower suspension for a while now and possibly other little things.
lately though i'm actually beginning to like the standard way the coupe looks.
whats everyone elses view on this???

If you look at the coupe carefully , in standard form you can see exactly how well/effortlessly the design flows .... Although i personally dont mind mods, imo they dont add to the design but make the car look more aggressive...
the plus wheels remain somewhat unique and remain a must !!!

think you might just have the same idea as fiat had, upto 99 the coupes were all std but then they did the le after that they just kept on modding it,so i realy dont think fiat were happy with the std look of the car at all, even the wheels had gone in the end,so i say if your modding it think about it a lot before you do anything take a good look around the site at all the pics, cost me a lot of money to get mine the way i wanted it,kits on, kits of, bits here, bits there,

some good answers there thanks guys.
i've never been a fan of the coupe wheels as i think they look to small for the car.
just want to see the views of everyone on here as i think this would be a good topic.

It's really a matter of personal opinion. I've always thought the design was spot on right from the start. Fiat added some subtle modifications over the years, but I don't think this was because they were unhappy with the design - it was done to try and keep the car looking as modern as possible. I still think the standard wheels look great, but could do with being a little larger - a 17inch standard looking wheel would be the best in my opinion

I think Coupes look better lowered for sure, and maybe after-market wheels may enhance a non-LE or PLUS, but body kits do them no favours, apart from the LE kit.

Im in the same boat as most on here. Modding the coop is a very personal thing indeed. Most own a coop for its looks alone, & think it looks alright as it is. My take is, you cant go over the top with huge spoilers & the like. That said its a personal choice as said. Ive seen some super coops on here & Ive pinched some ideas for the future At the moment my coop is still laid up, but that's a different story.
I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

I think most coupe owners go through this! I have mine about 16 months now and the only exterior change I have made was to get my wheels refurbished in anthracite because they were really badly kerbed and paint was blistered. There is no doubt the coupe is a stunning looking car but if like mine the sills are black and not colour coded it begs to be sprayed to match or have a kit fitted. its just important to make subtle mods to enhance the style and looks and not to stick huge spoilers etc on that ruin the lines of such a beautiful car. As others have said look at lots of pictures on this forum and then you will know what you want to do.
