Me to mate, just the small task of getting it through an MOT and to Bristol next!
I'm just looking into turbos at the moment, t34 or t34 hybrid seems to be at the top of the list. Is it best to get one off the shelf already hybridized or can something similar be made by a specialist from a T3?

Very interesting read! Not sure how confidant I'd be in a DIY job I'd be though. Fair play!
Would the .64 housing be noticeably more laggy?

Thanks for the info!
I think I'd stick with the .48 as much as I'd like the extra power I don't think the car will be as nice to drive if it isn't spooling up until 4k, will have to do some more digging...

Bad luck about the MOT. Sods Law. My guess about your pic?: Well it's an air vent so I'd say you're going to fit a Widget. What prize do I win? P.S. OK, everyone's got wing mirror spiders but engine bay spiders?!

Tell me about it mate, just haven't had the time recently to put into the car which is areal shame. At this rate I'll have it on the road just in time for the short winter days and salty roads!
As for the pic, close but not quite right. It is the centre air vent but a Neil doesn't thing a Widget will work with my 8v management.
As for the spiders... I was a big wimp and had to wash the car before starting work on it!
Hows your car doing now? Turbo still holding well?

It's good you've got her back and she's up and running again How did you find the drive home? I found she was pulling harder after the fuel pump change, I was thinking last night that an uprated Walbro might be an idea along with reinstating the wiring mod, I'd also consider an adjustable FPR with gauge. This is a really nice Coupe, great conversion with potential to beat most things on the road today, I know it'll out handle my Vincy so I'd like a 4x4 setup myself now

It's great she's back on the road. Won't be making the same mistake again! As for the drive home... quite a shock to the system having been stuck driving the pickup for so long. (and the dog slept all the way home!) Took me about 10 minutes to find the interior light on and get strapped in. After that a mixture of fear and fun whist trying to be sensible I'd forgotten quite how shockingly bad the head lights are! Think you're right about the fueling, seemed to occasional cough/stutter when coming on boost. Will get onto sorting it along with the other bits and bobs over the next few weeks. Hopefully repeatedly using it will iron out a some issues, as you say - it's got potential just needs a few things sorting! Cheers again for the hard work Joe!
