Well she's gone, For £800 under what I was originally asking for it £1230 It finally went for, to a guy in Stafford. Actually a little sad now, however it had started to rust on the arch, the suspension made an annoying squeak now and again, and the diff seal had began to weep oil. I was 100% honest with the guy and he knocked my asking price of £1450 down accordingly, I don't believe in selling cars with hidden faults. He seemed happy, lets hope I don't get a call in 5 minutes telling me its broken down like last time I sold it So what do I do? Stick the £1230 towards a deposit on a house and see how long the 306 will last, or do I buy something a little more sensible to cover 25000 miles a year in ? Or do I get a GTV I've been promising myself? Maybe I just buy a LE? Ben

Buy another coupe!! I got rid of mine a couple of months ago after having it 3 1/2 years as it had developed quite a few problems and I needed a new car for work and now regret getting rid of the coupe. In hindsight I should have kept the coupe, bought a cheap turbo diesel and spoilt the coupe, oh well never mind. You'll be wanting another soon I bet!!!

The coops been off the road for some time now, & Ive went & bought a wee diesel van. Ive just thought at my age......life's too short. That's my excuse.......
I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

Buy something reliable.
Your too fussy (nothing wrong with that) & you will seriously struggle to find a coupe to your standards nowerdays.
Then if you do it will just take you down the same road this one did.
