I'm all for people modding their LE's but when you're going to do that much then I dont see the point. Oh well at least the red roll cage matches True, why not start with a base 20vt and save some money?

oh that is really cheap. :-) at somepoint i am thinking of getting a company car or something for the missis we can both use i might do this to my coop but slightly less extreame and a cage was worring me on how expensive it would be and hard to source without make a custom cage.

Is the car all that modified? Seems like a lot of trouble has been gone to to fit the cage when the car looks quite standard.
Living with a full cage every day would be a complete plain in the backside though, especially with door bars like that.

yeah as a everyday car it would be a pain but i am sure you could get lower door bars. really thats just a out and out track car. then is if its that stripped out then say it has 270bhp it would still make it a fast car.

I'm not convinced its a track car, looks more fashion over function - could be completely wrong though.
Just things like the electric cut out on the dash rather than on the outside of the car, pointless.

well really you should have both cut off's and i did in any track car i have had. same if it was a track car it would have aplumbed in fire extingisher as i wouldn't have a track car without one.

yes, but they should be outside the car for the marshals - even FIA regs don't require an internal cutoff.
Can't really comment on fire extinguishers but can't see any in the pics.

yeah like i said i always had both! you have to have one outside.
fia regs also require and plumbed in extingisher and dependent of car you have to have a cirten size extinguisher!
i think getting a 16vt making it 4x4 and then doing this is the way to go but the main problem with doing it with a coop is getting the weight out the front of the car and making it a light weight car as well.

Yeah, I always thought it was funny that you had to have a plumbed in one but didn't have to have a hand held one.
Thats what I'm torn with doing, I'd love to keep my car nice and comfy but the extra weight is quite noticeable. I've never had anyone in the back of the car and don't use it daily so could get away with it - just not sure if I want to at the mo.

i wouldn't have a hand held one in! hand heald ones have a horrible habbit of coming lose in a crash and then you have a very dangrous object trying to hit you in the head! plumbed in one is the way forward.
if i went 4x4 i would hant to up the power quite alot to say 400bhp+ snd strip all the weight out and try my best to shift the weight out the front.
