Dad just scratched the rear right wing of the car with the stair banister

sorry to here that chap, wont be the first time my dads scratched my car. anoying as it is, there isnt much that can be done about it...unless you charge your dad for it

how deep has it gone? could the white be paint of the banister and not the car?

The white paint is off the banister doesnt look deep but wouldnt come off when i tried rubbing it though i had to walk away for abit cos i was really p***ed off! I'm just annoyed that I told him to be careful round the car and then watched him do it as he went into the garage.

Should come off with some elbow grease though..

use G3 or T cut with a bit of rag.
A bit of petrol on a bit of rag will also remove it. follow with polish

Use Autoglym paint restorer. I find its the best of all the commercial ones.
