Hi All,

Just made by first baby steps into coop ownership with a 96 16vT. I've loved these things for years but never quite had the guts to buy one given some bad press for reliability. Having discovered this club and read through what you all have to say it persuaded me to take the plunge!

Had the car a couple of weeks and had to do some work to it to start off with as its a mini rescue project for a previously neglected coop! Its now up and running and there will be more to come.

Thanks to all for sharing their knowledge and giving me the push needed to foray into Fiat Coupe territory...a decision I have already put down as one of the best I've ever made!

Thanks again,

Gareth

Welcome.

Now go and check your oil!

Cheers everyone!

I'll get some pics up as soon as I'm happy with her (i'm a bit fussy when it come to these things!). Oil checked! She's just had a rather thorough serviceat Alfa Aid in Maidenhead. They're not a coop specialist (as the name suggests) but they know the cars back to front and inside out and have so much enthusiasm...couldn't recommend them highly enough!

RICHB - She's dark metallic red. I live in Stokenchurch and work in Marlow and can be found happily cruising in between! Some great roads around Stokenchurch BTW...if you've not already found them!

Thanks again guys,

Gareth

Welcome, Gareth.

Before and after pics might be nice; it's a little less intimidating for new owners if they can see how much improvement is possible!

Cheers All,

She is so far unmodified and yes I am starting to get very paranoid! I've not even had her 3 weeks and she's already been into the garage twice and she's booked in again for the end of the month to have the suspension and brakes given the once over.

I will get some pics up for you guys in due course...now where did i leave my camera?

Thanks,

Gareth
