im going to get my alloys refurbed at somepoint soon...

now i'm considering getting them done black, but the other day I saw a saxo vts, which has similar style alloys, but the guy had them completey polished and it looked mint!

any one got any idea if that would look any good on a sprint blue 20vt? (awaits some photoshop guru to read this xD )

i'm going for black.. but i have just refurbed a set of wheels for a mate and they came out perfect! it's all in the prep work! so will do them myself!

as long as you take your time when painting them they can look really good, i did my old ones myself in cossack grey and spent 3 weeks doing all four of them.
cleaned, rubbed down, filled, rubbed down again, 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, 3 coats of laquer.
had a few chips after 3 years (mainly down to rough tyre fitters) but still looked good.

is it just ordinary primer, paint and laquer that you use?
