Ok, this is a lighter note from my other thread. Here is the scenario:
3 months ago I advertised a brand new bosal exhaust for a 16vt on here, I also put it on ebay as a BIN. It was bought by the proprietor of a Fiat specialist known to a lot of us on here. (No, its not Rog!) Fair dues, payment was received and all was well. I contacted the guy in question to arrange pick up. He told me he'd get back to me. I have since contacted him 5 times and have now held the exhaust for him for 2 1/2 months. I am going to contact him again in the week but I am quite honestly fed up of waiting as it has been sat on my garage floor and been getting in the way. Now, if he refuses or doesn't collect this week I am at loss of what to do. Should I refund him his money and sell it again (can I do that?) Should I just put the exhaust outside and out the way and to hell with what happens to it? I don't think I have been unreasonable in looking after it for him but niether do I think its wrong to want rid. By rights, if it was a business like Joe's, he would have charged me storage. (No, its not Joe either!) Hmmmm...

by saying it's not rog or joe you may as well have named him....

He's not done anything wrong I'm just not sure what to do. My wife reckons to phone him and ask him to collect in the next 7 days. If not, then refund him less my paypal and ebay fees and relist.

This is a difficult one.

I would just email and tell him you need it out of the way, and see what happens.

If it is who I think it is, he has been on holiday, and has also been very busy from what he told me.

that doesn't sound unreasonable to me goon. you dont want the thing hanging about do you? where are you based? maybe someone is driving down there from your area and could take it down?

That's an idea! However, If I say where its travelling too then I'll be giving the game away!

Blooming thing!, I've bashed into it nearly every day I go into the garage! He's lucky he didn't get a very flat exhaust!
