Flea is your man for this, but the GT3076 is a big turbo on the compressor housing, so buying the slimline fan is a good start, might be even worth reversing it so the fan is on the front of thr radiator

It actually fits without a slimline fan. I have modified the fan casing so that I can take them in and out easily without touching anything.

Saying that I don't run a heatshield anymore, but the modification allowed the heatshield to be in place and still get the fans in/out.

I have asked Leighton's advice about this turbo yesterday... i was ready to sell back my 3071 and buy this 3076 wink

He said it's a 460-480 HP turbo on a 20VT coop shocked

I will stick with my GT3071R-WG which is able to produce 400-420 HP. It's enough for me.

The question is : do you want 460+ HP ? laugh

My 3071R is a 450 bhp spec turbo.Thats more than enough in a FWD road car,too much in fact for a raod car and for FWD.

Externally waste-gated GT3076R is the turbo Begbie runs on his 16VT.
This GT is a beast shocked

The "real" 60mm turbine and "T3" housing make the difference versus internally waste-gated version which is "T25" style and have a 56.5mm turbine.

In this case prepare yourself to run 500+ HP laugh

As long as I get somewhere along the lines of 430bhp I'd be happy anything higher will be a bonus. I think I'll go for internal wastgate as this is getting expensive alreay as it is.

You're right! Expensive and more complicated too crazy

Welding a pipe on the original manifold for the external waste-gate seems nearly impossible. Plus, you have to cut the original T25 flange and weld a T3 flange... hard job i think too sick

Matty, Jari, Flea and plenty of people have proven now that GT3071 and GT3076 internally waste-gated are a good choice on our 2.0 litre.

If you want 430 HP i think you can go with the 3071R but you'll need headwork + hard boost to achieve this. With the 3076R you will have 430HP "easily". Don't forget you will have full boost +/- 500 RPM later with it.

It depends on how you want to use your car. Daily driving or "beast of the week-end" laugh

I was more thinking GT3071R with "special T25 EWG 44" if it can squeeze in. I like the sound of .72 A/R running external laugh
