Was this an optional extra?

Calm down lads. They're just cars... rolleyes

Though number two is indeed a tool for trying that on the road.

I tried to handbrake mine a while back and failed dismally! I must just suck then!

Handbrake turns are for juvenile boy racer idiots in Fiestas. If you can afford to own, run and look after a Fiat Coupe then why do that with one then surely you must have some sense?

Drifting is a totally different ball game and left to people who know what they're doing and it's meant for RWD Japanese cars or the like. Not a FWD turbo-charged Italian Coupe.

Rant over.

Problem with big oversteer in the coupe is that its very hard to straighten up on the throttle unless its bone dry and you have plenty of space. Too much pendulum effect from all the weight up front, a common problem with fast FWD cars smile

I'm suprised anyone can handbrake turn a coupe on the standard rear brakes - I could never get mine to do it.

Maybe neither of us were going fast enough! I really wanna learn some "proper driving" techniques! Don't know where to go practice this sort of thing regularly confused

nope - it's easier to lock the rear wheels when you are going slowly, unfortunately the standard rear brakes are too crap to manage to lock the wheels up.

Didcoop - I used to handbrake turn the 20VT on airfield tracks with tight corners, it is much quicker, and easier to do in a FWD car - but you need to upgrade the rear brake setup to do so.
