this has been done on several coops already, search google.
my opinion is that it makes the bump worse as the depth gives a worse line than the covers.
maybe a halfway house idea would be interesting?

Ah you jest but someone on here has removed the beautiful, iconic fuel filler cap and replaced it with a Halfords special from a Saxo so anything's possible.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the standard headlights? Like I say I don't think it will necessarily look good, just an idea! Probably yes, it's an integral part of the original design! Gareth

I don't think the rear wiper is an original feature to shout about.
I wonder if that was on bangle's original drawings. Looks like it was added when the design went past the socks and sandals brigade to me.

I think we need a petition to stop AlanW from reading the Styling section on medical grounds. It's for your own good Alan - it's raising your blood pressure - we don't want you having a coronary! On topic - the 'styling' idea's from some coupe owners are just getting worse...

On topic - the 'styling' idea's from some coupe owners are just getting worse... Give them a break, if nothing new was ever tried the it would be a boring place. That said, I'm not sure this one is to my taste either

I reckon that would look almost nice if it was painted in a decent single shade & the chrome alloys were simple silver & the doors opened normally ! .....and breathe

I'm assuming that's me this comment is aimed at? The offending article (apparently): It's also got, shock horror, LED rear lights, non-standard wheels, non-standard exhaust, non-standard front bumper & side skirts. Must be hell for Alan. Oh well.

...On topic though. I think the only styling issue you may have is the fairly "frog-like" appearance doing this to the front lights would have. I'm not sure if the froggy look is because of the colour of the one shown though. There's pics somewhere on the net of a Coupe without headlights at all, so just the side/fog/indicator lights. Now... that does look weird.

This is an awesome looking car though, someone prepaired to take a chance and think outside the box. Bolt on chav add on's no, but the fuel filler cap has been done professionally here though. Standard 20vt's with no skirts and lips are frankly outdated and a touch bland IMO. There's abs no reason to come onto the styling section of the forum if you are 100% content with the standard styling.

20vt There's abs no reason to come onto the styling section of the forum if you are 100% content with the standard styling. Easy started this thread by asking people what they thought of his idea. I told him what I thought. I will continue to express my opinions whether or not you think there is any reason to.
