Matt Neal accelerating hard around Rockingham Speedway in my first Coupe and remarking "this is more like it" after driving a brand new Civic Type-R for the morning A rather attractive young lady remarking "phwoar - your car's sexy" as I was about to give her a lift The look on the face of a Ferrari 360 driver as he failed to pull away, despite him hitting the rev limiter The noise through Birmingham's Queensway tunnel as I ran it round to the redline with both windows open, and my son and I laughing uncontrollably as several other drivers fell over themselves to get out of the way Hitting 160mph after just a mile from a standing start at TOTB two years ago. Hitting 43mpg after a day's motorway cruising

Hitting 160mph after just a mile from a standing start at TOTB two years ago. Was that a black Coupe with a zender bumper? the coupe with the most bhp?

The best experience of mine is driving it at the weekend, after I have been using the 1.2 Bravo all week for work.
In comparison the Coupe goes like a rocket.

My best experience would be a toss up between :- 1) My first meet with my 20VT with Sparkyman,H2ypr and Lou . 2) Big Coop Meet 3:Cowboy`s Revenge You had to be there to know how good it was . Baz

1, Cowboys revenge 3, the hole experience, the people, the coupes, the location, everything was spot on. the weather on the last day was stunning as well nothing better than meeting up with like minded people that come from all walks of life and having a few beers
2, the drive back from wales a few weeks ago, lovely weather, windows down, 5 pot singing, and a audi TT licking its wonds
3, this is a random one. every time i step out of my coupe when going to see a client, i can cover 100's of miles in a few hours down to London, step out of my car. and feel as fresh and relaxed as a dasiy. it does everything i need, and with no compromises

The first test drive of a Coupe - was 10 years ago and the look on the car salesman's face as the wheels spun in 3rd on a slightly damp road When mine first arrived from Germany (sprinty) and the other one we had (nana with body kit) and my mate thinking I had actually bought two for myself (rather than one to keep and one to sell on) - as I couldn't choose the best colour. Boxing day drive from Derby to London, en route to Channel tunnel it was 8am, cool but a nice winter sunny'ish day and 1h 20 mins later I was walking out of my house in London (needed to go home for my passport). Felt like i had only been on a 10 minute drive to the shops. Driving from Dusseldorf to Munich - and as we dropped round the bottom of Frankfurt the Porsche GT3 I was chasing had a clear road and left me for dead at around 140+. Then pulling into a garage for fuel and realising that we had done a tank of petrol in just under 2 hours and covered a little over 250 miles. Driving through any tunnel - drop a gear, 6000+ rpm and windows down - still makes me laugh out loud like a kid on christmas day getting his first bike.

One of them was (when the coop was working) driving round some fantastic bends going up the side of a mountain in Scotland with DanDan infront in the rain as quickly (and safley) as possible! Cars sounded great! No need to have the radio on! Ooh yeh and everytime the car starts!

It's still the first time I picked it up and drove it home.
Though if I ever get molested by three lesbains in it my opinion might change.

Until my Coop I was always a VAG man, I've had Golf GTi's, VR6's a couple of Corrado's and more notably an S4, an RS2, an RS4 and an RS6 as well as a random Mitsi Evo 6 in the middle somewhere!
All of them great cars, but none of them are as special as the Coop, and the Coop gives me a new best moment every single day, and not just for the Coop, but for all my years of driving!
Cheers all.

Epic drive from Anglesey to Magny Cours in 36 degree heat (OK, getting stuck in Paris with faulty A/C was unpleasant) but that road trip was fantastic, and the Coupe behaved impeccably.

an S4, an RS2, an RS4 and an RS6 as well as a random Mitsi Evo 6... none of them are as special as the Coop I am surprised by that. I'd say Alessandro prefers his RS6 plus to the 20vt Plus he had. I'm also thinking of binning the coupe for an S4.
