what else do i need to do for a reliable 280/300 hp (all being my compression is ok)

you will need to upgrade the turbo as well as you wont get 280 to 300 out of a standard turbo

I would get a Hybrid turbo + FMIC, should see you most of the way there. Oh, and a good boost controller if you havent got one already

Get a nice super spool hybrid turbo and decat pipe, Aquamist and get a live mapping done.

You'll love the way the boost kicks in with the help of the WI system

right got my fmic ... how do i go about turbo upgrade can i modify housing and internals, like i did on my scoob/pulsar or do i have to buy a complete new unit mine only 4mths old . my friend has a time attack subaru he uses turbo dynamics for his stuff can they tune my turbo to produce 280/300 hp??? .. he not intrested in fiats he jap mad thinks they unreliable and slow ... really want to prove him wrong
