Hello, i have purchased some clear side repeater`s but i need bulbs that flash orange,
i`d like the clear bulbs as orange bulb`s would be visable and spoil the effect.
I`ve checked ebay but no joy frown

there 12v 4w bulbs

any help appreciated smile

Dave

Are those orange 501 bayonets TD?

How do they look under clear repeaters?

Bought some clear indicator covers off ebay for £8. They came with some orange bulbs so I whacked them in.

They look pretty good actually, the orange is not really noticeable. Perhaps not as bright as the ones they replaced though.

Gives the wing of the car a much more modern appearance IMHO.

Thanks for the advice.

I found the silver bulbs that came with mine were way too dim for some reason (5W not 4w?).

I managed to find some water clear BA9 amber LEDs to use instead, look the business, don't affect the indicator speed and are plenty bright enough from side on in daylight.

I got them from a little tuning shop in Doncaster but you can get even better ones (super bright wider angle) from here...
