I had to swap cars round on the drive yesterday, when I started up my car, the young boy next door ran to look out of his window, pointed over and shouted "Mum, Racing car!!"

She came over and looked out and said "He likes your car" To which I replied "It must be the Yellow " He watched intently as I reversed off and drove up the road.

Any one on here had any interesting comments from kids on their coop?

I had some kids going past with their mum when I was stuck in traffic who asked her if it was a ferrari...she said she didn't know...

This boy walks past my house everyday for school, and a couple of times I've seen him run to the drive, and go 'YELLOW CARRRR :D'...and when I had it off the road at another location, the same boy walked past and said 'Wheres the yellow car gone? '

I hate compliments! Everytime i seem to be annoyed with the cars and i'm just about to get rid of it my neighbour always says "Loving the car today, looks so good" Arghhh changes my mind every time!!

As for my other neighbour shes like "Is it a Alfa Romeo.. Is it a Ferrari... Is it a Benz (Dunno where they got the benz from) Nooo its a Fiat Coupé!!" Hahha

I had some teenage girls shout "Look its an Aston Martin" On a car park in Bridgenorth, and yes it was aimed at me!

Btw mine was a sprint blue, not exactly a colour I'd associate with Aston Martin!

My next door neighbour's wee boy is desperate for a run in my Coop . He keeps pestering his Dad who says to him that he's to wait till he's a bit bigger and if i'm ok with it then I can take him a quick run.

It's quite strange because when I first got my 20VT he was scared by the sound of it .

when the first transformers film came out, i was leaving my grandparents and two kids over the road were

"look its bumble bee" i was smiling as i drove away

I just get the "WOOOOOAH" and "Nice car" off kids.

It still brings a smile lol!

I take my wee boy to school in mine when off work and constantly hear the other kids ask there parents if it a ferrari . We man wants me to keep it till he can drive I keep telling him I'll try but hes only 6

I round a corner and a guy is outside his house, holding his young lad & looking at a brand new Merc.

The young lad spotted my car and couldnt stop looking and pointing !

His Dad ignored him & blanked my car completely

I think that's the great part, when someone in an expensive Merc or Bmw who have a much more expensive and prestigious car who would look down on our ten year old Fiats pulls up at a garage or at the lights and *their* kids are pointing at at our cars and saying "dad look at the sports car!"

You can see the sneer from the driver it's great

Whenever my nephew comes around with my sister he always asks if he can go in uncle Pip's racing car. Took him for a spin a few months ago, he was ecstatic

I seen a Mum and her son (about 4 or 5) walking on the street and the kid started pointing at the car to his Mum as I drove towards them
Kids usually look at the car when I'm driving through towns, as they are a rare sight over here, imagine the looks if it was a yellow one



In the bottom right of this picture, the little fella in his pedal cart, just stopped and stared at the cars for the 5 mintues we were there, on the spin after the last meet.

basically everyone likes them exept people in posh cars who pretend they dont! haha.
a couiple of lads about 12 ish a few months ago asked about the coupe, they were arguing about what car it was, and when i said its a fiat, they told me to "fccuck off".
didnt believe me, nice.

people who seam to think they know about cars always slate it for being a fait and so on and being fwd. people who don't know cars pretty much always say it looks really nice and is very fast.
mention fwd and fiat to a petrolhead and they laugh but actually they are the ones missing out.

i don't get that many comments to be fair though and i like that as with my 4 cars all they got was attention and it waers thin after a while.

My neighbours young son used to love my Vinci LE. He used to call it 'the James Bond car'. Ahh - the joy of youth!!

You guys are lucky. Only kid that pointed at mine screamed and said "what car is that mummy?" then she said "a Ford or something". At this point, I just wanted to run her over but the turning circle stopped me from trying


A friend did say my coupe sounded "mental" when overtaking him on two lanes the other day though.

I usually get kids in daddy's beemers staring, but all the kids around my estate, always stand still and put their thunmbs each time i roll past.

If their lucky they get a pshhhhh followed by a loud cheer

10 years ago took delivery of brand new Portofino blue 20v turbo - my neighbour (Lexus owner) came out of the house, looked at it quizzically and said "That's a pulling vehicle but the only thing you're going to pull in that is poufs!", so henceforth she was known as the Purple Pouf Puller, but reckon I get the last laugh as 10 years on, her successor still gets regular approving comment wherever we go and who really notices a silver Lexus?

I've just come back from my holiday in north Yorkshire and couldn't believe the amount of attention my car got, the most memorable one from two little lads shouted to their mum "look a Lamborghini"

I was at a shell garage the other day a boy said "Wooow that cars got red seatbelts!"

its always cool when you are driving along and you see even toddlers pointing and staring at the Coupe as you go past!

last xmas day, the kid next door got a camera and was taking photos of my coop.

Yesterday as I pulled up at a friends house there were a few kids playing in the street. The oldest and loudest one shouted "nice car mate", and as I walked off and turned the corner I heard what followed... "lets scratch it" So I turned back and said excuse me and they ran off. Dont think they would have but all the same its a shame.

Workin on the car a few months back in the driveway and a bunch of lads that know everything there is too know about cars walked pasted and one of them shouted"skyline wana be"
