Is this an easy DIY job?
Car is at motormech at mo having head gasket replaced, was wondering if the inlet manifold will have to be removed to do this??
if so i'd like to get my inlet manifold ported, it was meant to be done when head was polished and ported but had a row with the guy before he got round to it.....
He was gonna charge just £45 for the inlet manifold, does that sound about right to do the job??

Was also wondering if there was anywhere near to motormech that could do this for me??

Also while i'm here.... does the head need RE-Torqueing after so many thousand miles after fitting new gasket???
If so that may be why the last gasket went so quickly??
If thats the case i will be VERY pissed at the guy who rebuilt my engine!!
