Have a look at Autocar this week, there's an article about performance cars for 5K, 10K etc. A short piece with photo talking about the coupe being ,"One of the best handling front wheel drive cars of all time." and ," the looks get better year on year."
It put a big stupid smile on me face in Sainsbury's.

I bought that issue & then noticed the Coupe content! It is in hallowed company indeed! Plus there's a special mensh on the cover for it as a performance bargain. And Mrs Mona's car (Puma 1.7) is listed alongside!

The comment about the handling is high praise indeed! Example model is a 98/R 89k for £2490 - start of a price resurgence?

Warns of rust though & nothing mechanical - which is a bit odd.

But why oh why do Autocar keep using those rubbish shots of S909KAN.
IMHO thats one of the worst looking and drab coupe pictures ever.

Yeah ste picture, but I think people are gonna read that and realise what us coupe feinds have known for a long time.

Hey, I reckon any praise and minimal negatives can be best we can hope for to keep prices up a tad... however much a bargain the Coupe is.
