All, Need an uprated clutch for the coupe 20vt... Something for fast street use. Car has the following mods. GT28r Turbo, FMIC, SIP, 384cc injectors, Tubular manifold, Apexi EBC, Blue Flame full system, Walbro and Bailey Recirc Dump Valve. Hopefully off down to leightons next week but think the clutch is going to be the next weak spot.

Cheers in Advance

Tim

Helix organic should cope with that fine, mine cost 479.59 from Mardi Gras Motorsport Tel.01327 858006, mention the fiat coupe club and you may get the price I paid but not sure if they are still foing the group buy price. Where did you get your tubular manifold from?

I heard a few people are using CG Motosport clutches now. Not got one myself but their pricing seem pretty decent.

I'll be needing a new clutch in the next few months, so more opinions on the CG clutch would be welcome. Cowboy do you have the link?

The 5 paddle clutch i use from CG is superb. Drives like an organic clutch, no judder, very light pedal. Been running it for around 4 months and no 1 even hint of slippage, and some very hard driving. Anyone who wants to see what it drives like is welcome to test mine

Cheers for the link Cowboy. It's good to have the review Matt. I'll certainly be considering one since it's about half the price of the Helix.

The Helix organic is very capable, but I've come to realise that its bloody heavy

I drove a standard car on Sunday (with a very recently fitted standard clutch) - the clutch pedal felt like the accelerator pedal shocked compared with mine

I've even started selecting neutral while crawling in traffic just to give my left leg a rest - its probably an age thing rolleyes

New clutches always feel lighter, when I first bought my car and the paddle clutch had done 1000 miles it was the lightest clutch I have ever used.

That's odd Nigel, mine feels as light as a standard clutch & Nello (standard clutch) said the same when we swapped cars ?

...perhaps you should get down the gym laugh
