Have been searching through old topics to check things, such as is it normal for the oil pressure to be up at 3 bar most of the time when driving, and have found alot of people have already asked these questions Only real plans at the moment are to get a new bonnet strut as one is a bit knackered, t-cut out a lil scratch on rear bumper, and get a new cd player (Saw a sony one in the for sale section on here which I quite like)

Very nice and I must say the Maroon with Tan Leather and Carpet has a very rich and decadent look to it. The cabin in a tan interior is a very nice place to be indeed, quite envious I must say. Enjoy

Welcome to the forum, I do like those Wine Red coops, looks very nice indeed... but why do you have to wait 4 weeks for your insurance? thanks, it saves me almost £600 to wait a month until my 21st bday. 21 with 3 years NCB is alot better than 20 with 3 years NCB so I shall wait. Does me no harm, am insured on my mums car which hardly ever gets used so can still get to work and stuff. Roll on August

thanks for the welcomes everyone, the mileage is 70k and I bought her in colchester. FSH, cambelt etc all done, looks in real good condition. Only things for me to do (that I know of) are one of the bonnet struts is knackered and needs replacing (from this site it seems quite common), and theres a couple of tiny little car park dents on drivers door which I may try to pull out.

Roll on August is this policy going to be under your name or ur mums with you as a names driver? Where are you based? lol im 23, i have 3 years no claims on my coupe and they still wont insure me on a 20vt until im 25. Aparantly its because i live in london and i work in IT? what a load of *****. Anyway back on topic. Thats a gorgeous looking coupe. . . i bet you cant wait to get behind the wheel! the insurance will be in my name, have tried those listed in the insurance section but so far admiral is the cheapest. With regard to bonnet strut there's a new one on ebay for £45 so I'll probably get that, or from someone breaking a coupe for spares.
whilst im not using it I'm going to just check all the fluids and make sure she's good to go. I've got a bottle of forte gas treatment (fuel system cleaner), will put this in unless you guys advise not to? Anything else I should do in the next few weeks before i can drive her?
