My eldest son, Lee had his 21st birthday party last night. Being the softie that I am, I bought him this: 16v N/A - under 70,000 miles, one owner. Paul at Motormech says its mechanically sound with a really sweet engine. Its got a fresh MOT, newly serviced and ready to roll. It needs a few minor dings sorting, but this is much easier than fixing a car with good bodywork, but duff mechanicals. I actually bought it about three months ago, but its been at Motormech ever since - Paul (as always) being very accomodating and at my request, "taking his time" sorting the work that needed doing

Lucky Lad! Now there's two of them to look after - your wife must be in despair. Just make sure that he does not get the keys mixed up with you....

Well - Lee finally picked up his car on Monday, after taxing and insuring it when we got back from Holiday I have to say that I don't remember my "first-coupe smile" being THAT wide He really is chuffed to bits, and I'm chuffed that he's chuffed Right - three years to save up for Matthew's Coupe now...
