aerial booster - where does it take it's power?

Shifty Unregistered S	carried out a search and read faqs, does the power come from the head unit harness and am I correct in saying it is 12v? old subject I know but have zero reception since new Panasonic hu fitted.

Shifty Unregistered S	ok no power to the amp, so what wire from the hu provides the power? Looked at the how to guide and it does not provide the detail?
