I've never even considered this before, but now my car is spot on mechanically I feel i need something else to do on the car.

My thoughts are after seeing Mr Coopers sig pic was an LE kit.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of pricing to get one fitted and painted?
Also I guess the Auto DS kit is the one to go for.

This is a *great* deal!! The AutoDS kit will cost you near on £300 anyway!! I wish Joe was doing this when I got mine!

I wont be doing it myself, tried paint work once before.

Only mentioned the price as someone mentioned the kit was around 300 quid but the site tells me 130.

lookint at AutoDS website it wil cost with Shipping Costs and paited £290. then you got to get in fitted which you probably wont get much change out of £100. seeing as joe will spray both front and rear bumber too i think this is a pretty good price ;-)......grrrr if only my car didnt have other problems that needs sorting first

Missed the shipping, £161 for the lips/skirts and shipping. Not sure how it could be painted when away from the car, it'll never match.

I'm sure Joe's deal is very good, especially considering my bumper needs some paint anyway.

I think i'm just trying to get the idea of costs involved and try and justify spending it.

the colour match will be the hardest thing to be fair.

most spray shops would spray the parts off the car, easier than masking the whole bloody thing!

im my opinion though, from your picture your car looks gorgeous now!

maybe keep it as it is, and take up golf if you are bored??

Cheers, it does have a coupe of rust spots which need sorting and would be covered (once teated of course) by the skirts.

Look how good it would look with the kit, ignore the headlight washers though, ugly things!

v's

clicky

Mine does ride on the eibachs now though so sits at a similar ride height.

Looks much, much better without the kit.
Why spoil those clean lines with about 10 kg of useless plastic ? cry

I used to be of similar opinion, and against any cosmetic mods.

However after five years of a coupe on my drive I feel my taste has changed, you could say matured rofl

I love the plus/LE kit (that's my car in your example pic laugh ), but have to say the clean lines of the '6' have really grown on me. I can certainly see why some people prefer the coupe without any kind of bodykit. But it does look a bit more agressive with the kit on in my opinion and I do like that!

I think a Coupe looks decent without a kit if the sills are colour coded.
