As an owner of a Civic Type R, I naturally registered with the forum for help, hints and general advice,

I cannot initiate banter with these people, they have odd?? wierd and humour that just does not gel with Chrissy,
I get sarcastic comments for no reason when posting, I can now see the real people behind the wheels of these cars,
Total idiots!

I was also stitched up I must add,
I asked how much a standard airbox was worth mint, A reply claimed £150, I advertised it at that -


Queue the laughing stock! lol It was actually £20,.. To55ers,.

Unfortunately the standards have just been set far to high by this very forum

But yes there do seem to be an extraordinarily large amount of said individuals about at the moment, on all sorts of different forums (forii?! )

Just don't tell them you used to own a coupe, they will prob ban you from the forum......

^^ To be quite fair there are other good forums out there believe it or not.

I came from the megane coupe club which had some top members.

I do think the car image will reflect the forum image.

I've never found a forum as good as this. There's some nice folk on the 106 Rallye Register, but you don't get the help/banter you do on Fccuk. And the 106 Owners forum?

I completely agree about the ctr forum.. never very helpful when I needed info regarding my Fn2.

One thing that made me laugh was the insistance of one mod who made out he had a direct line to the director of honda.

Anytime a new person posted about why honda didnt make a cw fn2 he would chop them down straight away 'never will make one.. get over it', 'japanese market only.. deal with it'

He went very quiet when Honda did introduce one over here

And dont get me started on the rivalry between Ep3 owners and Fn2 which just gets boring.

Like Chrissy said there is absolutely no banter at all.. Suppose that is the benefit of a smaller, close knit forum like this one.

The Coupe is a beautiful car.... I mean its a nice car, so the owners on here are nice people too.

This is very true I have been a member of the 200SX, MR2 & Nissan Primera forums in the past & none of them came close to this one. The 200SX & Primera forums wern't too bad - helpful guys & (fairly) fast response, but I found the MR2 forum very unhelpful - didn't help me once & it took an age for someone to reply, providing information on technical problems & maintenence proved to be alot further down their list compared to our forum

Maybe it's because I was a newbie with only a couple of posts I don't know

Put it this way, I am about to leave Coupé ownership, but I'll still remain in the club and on the forum, and I'll still be attending the events.
