Good news about the Project Jigsaw stan smile

As for the Falken tyres, which size did you have the 225 or the 205?

I've just bought a set of 4 (225/45ZR16) but not fitted yet. As you said, the FK452 reviews rate them very well.

The sidewall seems quite flexible too given the low profile and they also seem a lot quieter than the previous tyres.

Okay, finally got a chance to get out in some wet weather and the minute I went out........it stopped raining! laugh

Anyway, I prowled around for a while, chasing the darker clouds until I finally found one that was producing water.

Huge difference! Aquaplaning? What's that then? I still have the cheap tyres on the back (yes, I know, I know!!) and they are getting changed ASAP!!

My one negative comment about the Falkens? They have zero rim protection, not an issue if you are a good driver but if you park by feel....... sick

I'm now in the position that decent tyres for my standard 15" wheels appear no longer to be made... I may have to rethink this long term but since a screw through a tyre has killed it, and the opposite is down to 3mm, I've stuck a couple of Falken Ziex ZE-912 on to see how they go...

The other options appear to be liquorice or chewing gum.

Not currently holding the bouquet of the bunny of happiness.
