hi, i have a fairly standard coupe with standard turbo. the boost starts droping of after about 6krevs but the limit isent until after 7k? but by this time my boost has halfed. should i change at 6k when boost starts to fall or still run it through the revs to the limit? what have you found best. im going to USC on the weekend and just after tips smile

change gear at 6kish, that way you hold power all through the range!

(thats what i do!)

im in the sprinty, not sure if im running yet!

lol well just an insite, i run the other weekend and was hitting 14.2 but the conditions where not brilliant!

a few other coupes where finding it hard to deal with as the atmosphere temps where not brilliant!

what you done to yours?

i have ran there before last year and did 14.4 @ 98mph. car was completly standard with spare tyre on etc. Now i have a gtec1 and catback exhaust. i will take spare out and make try tyre pressure and hope for 14.2 @ 100mph. do you think i could get this time? what have you done to yours

you can do mate!

mine is 250bhp and i ran with normal tyre pressures and the car was fully loaded with a sub in the boot!!

think my terminal was 98mph... the videos are on here!

ive got a gtec 2, t28 hybrid and de-cat! did have a front mount but a front ender destroyed it!!! bad times lol

haha nar not sure if im running mate, got a few things i need to attend to at the moment before i want to start running it again!

but knowing me i may just get on it and blast it down the strip!!
