So they claim at www.bioperformanceuk.comObviously you need all the mods to take advantage of 104 - 109 octane fuel and I see they already have a conversion kit for 16v and 20v Coops. £400 Thinking I could offer my coop as a doner test car, but it needs a turbo refurb first. Anyone else considered such? Er, discuss.

25%? it might be that much if you ran it on METHANOL!
to be honest i think this would be a mistake for a coupe
they are fragile enough, and my new motto is if it aint broke dont try to fix it.
and pray that it wont break!

You don't want to do it that way. If you want to use E85 then get some ethanol compatible injectors and fuel pump etc. and get flea to map your std ecu. I think you need to get your tank cleaned out first tho. I thought someone from the continent had posted up on here about them using E85 in a std car already In short I would touch it with yours

don't believe the hype, the technology with biofuels is still in its early days. your engine was not designed or engineered to run on this type of fuel (regardless of what kit they supply you with), plus the fuel is not that widely available yet. Plus (ecowarrior buzz) the demand for biofuels is directly affecting food supplies in the world as the producers are offering higher prices for grain that would otherwise be used for food = less supply for food production = higher priced food. I did a lot of research into biofuels for my company and its not as green or ethically/morally correct as they make this industry out to be!

As suspected then, too good to be true!
did wonder about the difference between this and Octane enhancer other than price.

no - that is an utter generalisation, though it would depend on the spec of your car.
if the turbo is standard then at 1.3 bar it is also being inefficient - at 1.6bar regardless of the fuelling it will last about a week or so....
