Oh Guys - I've managed to wangle a few entry forms for Prestatyn classic car show, get this, for fiat coupe's under "Modern classic" EVERYBODY in prestatyn comes out for the car show as well as hundreds of holiday makers, and your car could be on show in our own little section. I'll post up details in the events section when I can be arsed but it's on the may bank holiday sunday IIRC. How cool is that

It's a 1972 VW Baja bug with a 1500 rebuilt at the moment. Possibly gunna put something bigger in but there's so much to do before I can even think about that! Got new floorpans, new heater, new fibreglass flipfront, in metallic purple... It's got disk breaks too now which is useful! I'll post some pics at some point.

Stick a porsche engine in there. We've got an old beetle waiting to be done up, was the mrs first car on the road and it's still at her mum and dads house. Gonna go for the cal look on it when I do it. Disc brakes sound good to me !! Dave

What's all this about beetles, leave that old banger at home and take your coupe I have a entry form in front of me: Prestatyn classic car show sponsored by prestatyn town council 29TH MAY 2006, the town square, Prestatyn (Bank holiday monday) Entrants will have the choice of going straight to the static display in prestatyn or taking part in a 20 mile (approx) vintage/classic run to the event ( ) classes 1,2,3,4,5 must be pre 1975, however interesting vehicles of all ages are welcome. Further details in the final instructions. Goes on to the entry form, then at the bottom There is no charge for participating in this event. There will also be a complimentary lunch for two for each car entered in the show, if the entry is received before 30th April 2006 So free grub Will have to do a proper post tonight in the right section.

Excellent ..... slight problem, it's only got one seat at the moment, but it's one of those tiny little things I will have sorted before it leaves it's cosy little home!

Not me Marcus. My coop is sat in the garage with no front brakes on.
Been refurbing the brembos as I had a seized piston so took the chance to paint them up too, see styling! Putting new brake hoses on too, flexible and rigid but they don't get into Fiat until next wednesday so will be cycling to work, only 4 miles so not too bad!!

...I'm only grateful your workmate made no comment about my hair (or that you decided not to publish it!) cos it was very very early.......
