Quite a few people on here breaking / selling / otherwise unhappy, so as an alternative point of view:

It was MoT today. OK, I spent a few bob at Motormech before it went in, but not even a single advisory. Not bad for a 10 year old!

And it feels much better for some new front shocks.

And the rear wash wipe now works.

And the front washers are now marginally less useless.

And the irritating knocking in the front suspension has gone (top mount, predictably)

And apparently there is nothing else wrong with it thats worth mentioning, apart from worn front tyres. Which I knew about.

So I'm all warm and fuzzy about the coupe at the moment.

Sounds good. Mine went through its MOT about month ago without any advisories, just like last year smile The only things I've done to it in that time are replacing the rear discs and pads and a full Motormech service. It's a good feeling when the car turns out to be as good as you hope it is.

Mine failed at the weekend on tyres and track rod ends which i knew about so I'm quite happy about that.

Tyres are just run of the mill, and track rod ends are, like £12 each or something, so that is not bad at all.

Ah, but insurance. I've got that next month. The AA wrote today, with a joke price.

But never mind that, I'm so content with the coupe I've even ordered a chip repair kit.
