I am one of those people like alot on here that like the coupe without a spoiler, but, with the coupe being for sale and not had any interest at all, and with little problems springing up, i may be keeping her. if i do, then i want to personalise her a bit, spray the filler cap black to match wheels, maybe a kit or spoiler etc. if i was to be persuaded to put a spoiler on, it would have to be the right one, not to big, and would have to suit my coupe.
could you fellow coupesters show me some pics of the best spoilers out there for the coupe, to give me an idea whats available please?
cheers

Id defo start with an LE kit skirts and front lips, you can buy a decent kit and have it sprayed and fitted for not that much money. My first ever coop was like yours sprint blue, no kit. Once I sorted out the LE kit, for me it was a HUGE difference, couldnt stop looking at the car, totally changed it, the front especially looked more mean and chunky.
As for spoilers, the only one I would consider is an M3 style lip.

Spoilers are a personal taste thing with the coupe. I had an original Zender one on mine and I thought it looked good.

You either love them or hate them. You could try one like this ..... ... which is the Cada style spoiler. I'm getting to like it!

LE kit first, then maybe a spoiler. This is an M3 one cut down. M3 Lip But an M5 one would go all the way across. Per on here has it done on his silver coupe and i'll prob do this at some point to

big top, i have to agree with some of the comments on here, and totally dissagree with others.
which, unfortunatley is the way any 'what do you think' thread will go.
however, as every one else is putting their two cents in, here are mine.
Spoilers do not suit the coupe, and i would imagine even the small bmw ones being talked about would require work to fit, and still end up with that halfords tacked on look which ruins the coupes lines.
If your car looks the same as it does in your signature pic, my advice would be to buy some different wheels.
In my opinion, (which i know differs from others blah blah blah) black wheels look awful on cars.
You get that horrible difference between rim colour and tyre colour, making it look like you have dark brown tyres all the time.
Plus, wheels are one of the first things that draws your eye to a car, from a buyers perspective.
i think 'technics' is right though, a simple LE kit will transform your car, as will colour coding the bottom lips of your bumpers.
I put LE skirts on mine, and a 360 bumper (another marmite item) and had the rear bumper valance colour coded, and it makes a HUGE difference to the look of the car.
as i said this is my opinion, im sure not seconded by all!
matt

I think this comment tends to reflect other peoples view on this post too.
I've always thought the name of this type of mod you're intending fit, tends to reflect what it does to the styling of the coupe.
But if you really want to put a spoiler on the coupe, the M3, or Zender options are the more subtle and "factory fit" looking.

Matt-Shiny shoes Halfords add on really? spoiler Dan, yep the M5 one will go all the way across. when you get, start to flex it in a curve matching the coupes rear end as the M5 boot is more square than the coupe. When you come to fit it after spraying it'll be easier. Tony

well i defo want either a le or zender kit first, then il see what it looks like.
shinyshoes i actually like black wheels on the coupe, its one of the reasons i bought this one, and most people when they compliment the coupe say they love the wheels.
each to their own eh?
when i first got my coupe i prefared the black sills look and now i would love a zender kit i think, strange how preferances change...

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
A Coupe with a spoiler is like Monica Belluci with a moustache. I'd still hit it...

Well each to their own, but as the original thread asked, 'which spoiler' no if to or not, its the M5 Spoiler, which IMO looks excellent on pers coupe

[moderator hat on]
Bigtop has asked for pictures of coupés with spoilers on, not peoples opinions on owners/coupés with spoilers on. No one wants to lock this topic so please lest keep it civil. If you have something constructive and helpful to bigtop, please post. If you want to voice your opinion on spoilers in general, this is not the place
[take off hat]
Have a look over on autoDS bigtop, also the coupé pictures section should have something of intrest

Mine's a Sprinty, with black wheels and Zender body kit, so should give you a very good idea what yours would look like

Agreed its up to the individual but IMO the rear of the Coupe i.e. the upper Boot-line is high enough without the need for a spoiler. It also interrupts the line across the top of the car..........But each to their own...... Never thought I'd like the LE 'kit' until I saw one and now I own one so!!! Defo a matter of personal taste. Think Countach - I know the rear wing on them is what they really became synonymous with but again I think they are a million times better without.
