I have just aquired a Samco Turbo hose kit (see link below, 5th one down). It's kit reference TCS58

I've just been sorting through the hoses & It's fairly obvious which hose it which - apart from one the 'TB395'

Where is the main pipe from the air intake to the turbo - is this not included in this kit? The TB395 hose is clearly the wrong diameter & shape for this - where does this one go.

What am I missing here

Has anyone else fitted this kit to their 20VT? - if so any fitting issues?

Yes thats the one I'm unsure about.

It's a totally different diameter to the main turbo hose from the airbox.. & how do you tee-off for the D/V?

or am I totally off the mark here

The Question mark Shaped one connects the turbo and the intercooler.

The hose you are talking about that comes from the airbox is not part of the silicone hose kit.

As you mentioned, it would be too complicated for them to make holes for takeoffs etc..not to mention the cost

the only pre-turbo hose that comes with the samco kit is the one from the airbox to the MAF. from the MAF to the turbo it still uses the stock hoses.

the ?-shaped hose fits onto the hard plastic pipe before the throttlebody.

Eric, as mentioned the ? is for the intercooler-turbo connection. The one you are talking about is.. the closest i can describe it is a twisted S shape.

I though the same as well. The ? shape hose is located between the the turbo compressor outlet and the SMIC.

Here is the standard one:

No issues fitting the kit. However you do need to cut slots in the pipes to fit some places. Its worth replacing all the clips with stainless ones too, I bought mine from Forge motorsport. They are also smooth on the inside so don't damage the pipes.
