I think I will. Fingers crossed I can't see myself needing £2K so desperately that I will have to sell my coupe to get it. I know that if I came to sell that resprayed, mechanically perfect, etc. etc. would barely make any difference to what it was worth. So, all things being equal, I will hang onto my coupe forever, even if eventually she just sits in a garage and comes out on sunny days in 2035. Anyone else willing to take the pledge???

A forever car for me me too now i have the revered plus, sprayed and mechanically pretty good. can't imagine owning a car i love so much (unless i come into a few million quid somehow) Even if I won the lottery I think I would keep it - then you definitely don't need the money or garage space. OK, so that's 8 coupes safe. Remember, they may soon appear on the automotive endangered species list.

I'm keeping this one and probably buying another, maybe next year. No harm having two, is there?

I'm a keeper for life . I drive all sorts of cars with my work but at the end of the day my Coop is the one that wins my heart, all the others are either mundane or too expensive. Baz

Dave, your lil boy will probably auction the yellow mystical beast off when he's all grown up How strange, Today I made a mention to my son (24) of leaving my car to him and he said "I'll sell it and get something decent !". Oh the shame..I'm sure I brought him up right. I had dragged him from bed, to do some joinery at my coffee house, so he may have been winding me up again. Still, he just talked himself out of a coupe. So now it's between the three girls. The latest is just 12 weeks old and when she is 21 the car will be 32 years old. Should be a classic by then. But I'm not planning on kicking the bucket just yet...There's a few more miles on me and the coupe yet. And I have owned it for all it's 11 years. So it would be rude not to see it through.

I've owned a 16V,16VT,20V and a 20VT over the years. I keep coming back to them. I currently have a pretty much mint 1 previous owner 20VT-6 and am wondering if she will be a keeper.
I would seriously consider this but as each new kid arrives I get all sensible and sell a coop, and there is another kid on the way.
Storage is my biggest problem but I am certain that in 20 years I will be scouring the country looking for one of my ex coops which will then have another 10 owners on it and will cost more than it is worth now.

I can't see me getting rid of mine. I've gone green and ben cycling to work, so it's been SORN since April. But as much as it guzzles gas, it's just an amazing car, sorted how I want it. I love it!
Red, with recent new over spray, spotless tan leather interior, Zender Kit by Mariusz (fitting could be improved I guess), late model grill.
I only need to refurb the wheels, and keep it maintained.
I went to the Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset this week (go if you get the chance!) and there wasn't much in there I would swap it for. I really think its that good.
Money, will always be the decider.
