Hi guys!

I am looking for some camber bolt or adjustable top mounts for my coupe.

I cant find anywhere to buy it! An online store would be great, since I live in Norway.

Thanks!

Camberbolts will give you much more camber than top mounts, all the way to 2deg at best.

I cannot find the H&R CC112 I use now.. However it's also possible to make the upper holes in the damper slightly wider and adjust that way..

If you want top mounts they will have to be custom made - which means about 150-200 pounds each, and you would have to send them a standard mount with specs of what suspension you are using.

Camber bolts or slotting the strut is a better option, though you could also run more caster with a custom top mount.

So what's the best camber bolts available out there?

If I've read other posts right, there are differences in diameter between various brands...

£10.29 for postage on two bolts !! Are they hand delivered by a golden swan ? That is taking the p1ss especially when I paid £8 to Alternative Auto's for an oil cooler and two wishbones to come overnight delivery !

Call BMS and ask them - much better than just going through the site.

i asked the same question....

Apparently the standard bolts are 12mm but the Eibach camber bolts are 8mm confused Haven't got around to checking with BM yet so let me know if you find anything out.

Even so Si, that's more than double the price elsewhere, what difference is there between an almost £50 bolt from BMS and a £20 Eibach bolt from Europerformance ?
Do they do a 50% discount over the phone smile

They are smaller so that a cam can be placed inside to give you the camber. IIRC mine are 10mm

So the bolts for the Coupe are 10mm? I'm looking at the Eibach ones on Europerformance.
Also, what's this about "Use wrench #85825 to adjust."?
Cheers

I've got a pair of these:
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=629480
They seem to be way too small compared to the standard bolts, which are 12mm, the camber bolts are 10mm at the widest part (the cam) I haven't fitted them as they just don't look like they're the right size, can anyone help me out?
Cheers

Camber bolts are indeed smaller than the standard bolts. Last time i measured them they were between 8mm-10mm at the threaded section.

They have to be smaller than the standard bolt or you won't get any movement to adjust the camber.

Yeah, but the torque figure for them is 27 lbs/ft, that's awfully low, doesn't look like they've got any strength at all, and the threaded portion is only about 8mm, which also seems pretty small!

They don't have as much strength as the bolt it's replaced and it won't being almost half it's diameter. The camber bolt is mainly there for alignment although it will still have some support for the hub in the damper.

I'd be tempted to replace the lower bolt for one with a better thread, I don't like fiats choice of fine threads, Im scared of putting any torque on them for fear of stripping the thread.

Look for the grade of bolt.... would imagine 10.9 should be minimum for load bearing stuff. I know thats what Fiat use on the bolts holding the front calipers...

As an upgrade if you are using camber bolts at the top, maybe a 12.9 may be better?
