Hi All any of you got a dump to air valve that makes the fluttering sound like a Delta Integrale, Just got the DV26 for my GT and it sound a bit lame <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> The TAS one on my LE sounds nice but looking for one the flutters (I know very sad) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Cheers all

I've got a Blitz Dual Drive BOV on your old coop and that flutters really nicely, think the HKS Supersequential does the same.

I have a cone filter on my GT, the DV26 makes the same sound a high pitched dish sound as it did on the Coupe. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Gonna change the postion on the GT tomorrow see if it makes it sound and work better <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Other wise might have to hunt one of the Blitz jobs down.
Do they fit staight on as had a look at the on line they look a little different to the 2 dumps valves I got <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

They are a little bit bigger but it fit on the coupe a treat. I struck lucky as a lad in work was selling one for stupid money, £25!!!!
Could have flogged it to make some money but it sounds too good to take off.
I even had an adaptor in my garage from when i had my scooby that let me fit it straight on, it was designed to fit straight on a scooby intercooler .

My mate doesn't know if he wants to sell the DV26 as it was a present off my sister-in-law.
By the sounds of it you've got one anyway Edz.

Hi Dave , Yeah I managed to get one off ebay for 30 notes <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> which I stuck on my GT <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Then all this talk about dump valves made me think about a Fluttering sounding one <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Cheers anyway Dave.

Let me know if you get bored of your valve <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

My forge dv004 makes a fluttering when the boost isnt high enough to properly open the dump valve spring.
The noise is actually compressor surge which i wouldnt of thought is ideal really.
Does sound good though!

do you acctually know what the flutter/chatter is???

it is the air bouncing back off the turbo blades.......not good for the turbo

also the charge temps can have an effect on how the d/v sounds. when it is cold out and the air is more dence, you'll gett more of a chatter

Where you from EDz, come take a listen if you want. - Just noticed where, bit far maybe!
Only difference with dump to atmoshphere is my mixture is a little richer just after the 'dump'.
Hear you get flames with a decat!
