Don't want to belittle anyone's religion, but what a bizarre series of questions:

What an odd questionaire.

I must admit that these scientologists scare the censored out of me. Some of the things they have got away with, is just scary.
I don't normally talk about religion as I think its a pointless pastime. Scientologists are different, they really want to take over the world. I was approached in Cardiff a few years ago and the way they recruit new members is just plain wrong.

They are a cult plain and simple, the level of group-think that exists inside is so high, very , very few people are strong enough to leave.

Only a few years ago they took the "fair game " policy from the official list of rules.

Scary people.

No, not really. They all seem to be fairly standard psychological test questions.

What I don't get about scientology is this: Any other Religion that I know of, eg Islam, Christianity, Hinduism etc, the people that follow the faith think that it isn't made up, that there is a god, that they are following the one true faith. Even if there is Strong, overwhelming evidence to say that their Religion is misguided or whatever, the followers have faith that their god is there and they will meet in the afterlife.
Scientologists KNOW that their religion is make-believe. Because some failed Sci-fi writer invented it fifty-odd years ago. Yet even knowing this, they still follow it as a Religion. Why?

Coopless!

They are simply duped. Once in, the group think sets in and people can't leave.
If they do manage to leave they are attacked constantly by the group. If you have a career, they can destroy it.

They missed a question off the end:

"Do you frequently fill out endless, unnecessarily-long random questionnaires for no good reason or gain?"

I agree with the bashers on this thread. Scientology is an evil cult. There is really no question about that. I think people join it under pressure, with the prospect of 'belonging' to something significant.

The questionnaire is completely fake. They want you to think that you are being carefully selected for membership, that you are very fortunate to be accepted, that there must be something special about you, etc. It's all a brimful crock. They just want power over you, and your money.
