Hi All,
What's the best way to clean up the exterior of a FMIC please?

I'll probably use Autosol to clean the body of the FMIC but how do I remove the crap from the fins without damaging them? (Stones, flies, dirt, etc)

Thanks,
Julian.

I use my Karcher jet wash and that cleans it up a treat.

Don't come too close tho, the power of the water might damage the fins.

Spraying brake cleaner or carburettor cleaner over it might work too.

Taken off and soaked in paraffin and blasted from inside face outwards with an airline sorts the job even on the worst intercoolers.

Thanks Martijn / 1NRO,
I like the paraffin and airline idea.

I think i'll give it a go over the weekend.

Thanks again.
