That's serious money in todays market. Definately looks like a great example but £6 grand buys alot of car, and I dont think the Plus or LE are at the point where they are worth double and them some, of an equivalent 20VT.

Looking far too much IMO.

"Probably the best Plus available in the country" blah blah.

Yawn...

6k is too much. By at least a grand. I'd have that Sprinty over the blue one. Elec blue isn't even a rare colour, after all.

Steves car is nice.

He isnt in any rush to sell so good on him putting it up for £6k.

If we all did it then coupe values might go up, instead of giving them away for £800.

I completely agree.

Sod to everyone who says too much etc. That car is worth 6k

Just because people de value their own car does not mean he needs to follow suit. People should stop flogging them for pennies and actually price the good condition models appropriately.

It's not people devaluing their cars, it's the meerkat.

Exactly. You people want to try and change the herd mentality? Good luck.

A nice example of history and mileage backed up by receipts, the only let down at that price for me anyway is the engine bay. 6K i'd expect mint.

Compared to what else you can get for £6K, for the noise, style, performance etc. I still think they are the bargain of the car market at the mo......

quick clean up, refurbed rocker and cam covers from mrc off here and it would be close to mint....just a fraction on the high side, but pretty close to good value imo.... love

Unless it's had a very good paint job fairly recently (don't think it has) how it can it possibly be mint?

Not disputing for one minute the question of value, but given the current market, just don't think it's worth 6k.

Just my 2p's worth, feel free to flame.

Defo too much, I sold mine back in May 07, with 47k for £6700, and it took a while to shift as I was asking top dollar. He needs to drop it a £1000 easy, even then thats the top price.

Forget the Meerkat. THe car is worth what he is asking for it.

Perhaps a clean of the engine bay and then see how it goes.

No Car that is used is mint period.

Its worth what it sells for not what you ask for!
you can have a mint used car, ollies coupe is nigh on factory mint and it wouldnt get close to being entered in these concorse competitons for MINT cars.

I see very few cars that I would call mint, have friends with astons, breras, M3's etc etc and even ones at a couple of years old arnt mint.

Or am I just too fussy?

Yes... probably.

Though in my opinion the coupe fan base (of which I am now one - at least once I have found a nice one to buy) do seem to under price good ones.

Unless you've (very) recently had all major parts replaced and had a full respray etc etc then I don't think you could really call any second hand car mint. And I'm also guessing that, if you have had all those things done, you're probably not looking to sell.

You just aim for the best that's available, which in some cases can be exceptional and therefore worth top dollar. As for what 'top dollar' means in the current market.. that's for debate tongue
