Hi some idiot hit a car which hit my 20v turbo after only owning it for a week! Im pretty sure its a write of! Gutted! Its a 97 with leather seats sun roof full service history all the keys and 85000 miles! Any ideas what money il get back from claim? Cheers for Any help!

depends on the condition of the car, how much it was insured for, excess, ect.

Im claiming of the guiltys insurance! Rear wings bent in rear bumper bent in left rear side panel creased front bumper bent in bonnet bent will stick some pics on tomorow I havnt the funds to repair her wish I did!

Based on that description i don't think pictures will be necessary - most certainly a write off.

Agreed. It's not your lucky day, I'm afraid. Mine was written of for lesser damage three years ago (and rebuilt after purchasing the wreckage for rather more than it is worth).

Almost certainly, the boot floor pan will be bent. It's the cost of the parts and labour that will kill it.

That's some bad news there mate, sorry to hear that.

My Coop was written off twice (!) and both times I bought it back and my brother broke it for parts the last time, so made decent money.

Your best step is to start looking at prices of another coupe the same spec, mileage , condition pic of her pre-accident helps too.

Unfortunatly the insurance will offer what the car price guide states its worth . . . But remember you are in fact covererd for replacement value and everyone is this is were the pictures of her pre accident come in and the trader ads also come in if you need to argue for more cash

Book price is 1750 should I expect that?

It all depends on the claims negotiator that gets your file

like i said look at replacement cost if they ofer 1750 and you cant get one the same for that demand more cash .

Last year or so back i wrote off my MGF first offer was 2700 so i declined saying its worth more

ony had 36k on the clock 2 owners full dealer history and a rare colour.

you could get lucky, we got double book price for the bravo, and got it back (not recorded as well) we put it back on the road for about 100 quid

i had someone drive into the side of mine when i were on holiday and it got fixed.
ok it was only very very light but i'm still out of pocket £350 untill i can get that back from the other side and this happened in June

my car has been written of gutted! managed to get what i paid for which is tidy! just got to wait for the cheque so i can buy another coupe!!!!!

thats lucky then, i know how much of a pain our insurance has been in the past
