Will probably help the formatting to mask those links up as clickable html labelled as the model of each unit. I would do it but do not have the rights.

Well satalite radio is running in that states and I think in Europe to, pioneer support it, internet radio is the future, dab radio sations are pulling out yearly and now that the BBC are cutting some radio stations off, dab is going to be the next Betamax, hd DVD, midi disk, ECG

thing is for years the goverment have been banging on about digital switch over being this date, then being re-dated, i remember in 2005 they was going on about dab being cd quality radio, it will over taking radio, its nothing even close!
you only have to see that car stereo brands wont invest as there is no sure long term investment, and cars that are being produced even now! still come with Fm and AM radio.
with radio advertisers know there targeting a market in an area that the station will cover, unless your pepsi, tesco, and brand thats nation wide, dab is not making money

Sorry but to me £120 per year to listen to some radio stations is pretty pointless. Yes it may be the way forward but not at the current costs.
If this does start to take off expect mobile companies to be more agressive on streaming internet media over phones as for the most part its currently against the T+Cs from what I can see.
well how do you think these phone companies think up these brilliant ideas, they mostly dont, some poor tech-no geek gets his cost cutting idea ripped off by the corprate scum! trust me when i say the mobile phone industry will one day be the one industry that will control every mobile network dependent device.

there was a idea called M2M, a never ending network, that can never crash or be taken down, were you fridge, tv, toaster, microwave, hair dryer, anything electrical would be part of a never ending network, a true free network. completely off subject lol

thing is for years the goverment have been banging on about digital switch over being this date, then being re-dated That's DSO for television, which is happening now and will be complete by 2012. Until earlier this year, Ofcom consistently stated that there were no plans to turn off FM radio. Earlier this year, they began a consultation process over the possible switch off of both FM and AM. The date they are consulting over is 2015 switch off for FM ... but its only a consultation, so nothing is set in stone yet. Its not clear what FM/AM radio's digital successor will be though. The UK is the only place across Europe (and remember that it's a European system) that DAB has done anything really. And even now the stations struggle. In Germany, they are talking about turning off their DAB system (after having spent a lot of money ly a few years ago installing it!). So it's not clear what DABs future in the UK is. Some people say DRM will be the best replacement ... "Digital Radio Mondiale" works in the AM bands and has some potential, but has yet to see any significant take up (and so receiver production).
