hey guys i am looking for the place i can get the best prices of parts in the UK cause here in my country the dealer is totally too much soo i need your help guys they will be taking out the whole engine and ill know what i need soon but i need to know where can i find parts for the car and good prices and well as some of the tunning internal parts please ASAP

You are having silmilar problems to mine in the past. I had tough time with our dealer

As an advise, if you are rsbuilding the engine, use forged internals as you may decide to take it to higher power levels so you'll be ready. It might not be cheap option but will put your mind at rest. You need someone who knows what is he doing when building the Coupe engine.

You can try the "Parts for Sale" section as some forged parts offer pop. You can also check with Barbz as he is close to you (in UAE). I'll PM you his e-mail.

I'm sure other memebers will come along and advise sources in UK.

What's you plan for tuning? horspower?

couple of places to recommend are alternative autos, you will find a price list and contact details in the members benefits section and joe forum name countrycruising would be able to get you good quality second hand stuff and some new stuff as well

We (who are buying from outside of Europe) don't pay VAT so it must calculated carefully as VAT is sometimes maybe higher than shipping costs on some parts.

Ah, that would be a problem then, they would have to deliver it to me first at a UK address so vat would be payable
If your saving on the vat then I guess that covers delivery ? Anyway, the offer still stands if you need it, it may work out better for smaller cheaper parts if I hand deliver them

Guys so far my engine is DOWN now they took it out to check the damage is caused so i am waiting for the parts they will require me to get and i will post them here and plus i want to know what can i do to the engine or change to make it be pure and smooth like renewing it but not in a costly way.

Said, seeing your part list i doubt it would take GBP 6000 to get it on the road. Max i would say Dirhams 5-6K if you source some items like sensors and hose second hand.

In my 8 years of ownership i have never faced difficulty with getting spareparts in Dubai. Our local agent Al Gandhi stocks most of it.

Other sources i have used for spare parts overseas is Alternative auto. If you want spare parts one of the best source is Joe (forum name countrycrusing). I have dealt with him a couple of times and his service is excellent with realiable parts.

As the coupe ages there is no trained specialist with the Agent. We have been lucky to have Babz. He lives around the hood and knows his stuff well. Go to his work shops and you will see coupe's and Lancia Evo's. His a guru with these cars. Am sure he can assist you with some engine parts too.
